Hi again

Daniel is making amazing steps everyday.  He still hasn’started walking by himself but he still manages to get everywhere somhow.  He climbs up on everything.  He baby talks in full sentances and expects you to reply.  You will usualy see him cruising around in biboveralls and chattering.

Wow the website looks amazing.  I still don’t have internet access so I haven’t been in touch. 

Things are busy with moving and starting work.  Getting our apartment set up has taken up most of our time. 

 Our anniversery is on Monday.  It will be our 2nd and life has been amazing so far.  Yes full of hard stuff but also full of joy and contentment. 

I miss you mom and dad!

Looking forward…

As the title says, I am looking forward to church on Sunday!  There will be 3 services. 

It will be my last Sunday here so I will be saying Goodbye to a lot of good friends.  I am not looking forward to that.

New web page

We have a face lift on the web page, included are features designed to keep everyone informed of a family that is increasingly separated. The goal here is to allow updates from most anywhere to happen and keep this web site updated and more dynamic.

 Since you are reading this, you have obviously found the ctw Blog.  Notice that there is a link here to leave a comment. Please give it a try. Remember that your comments are public, everyone can see them. So mom, no funny comments about strange incidences of years ago… okay??

 If you care to chat, and there is someone currently logged into chat with, you will see that in the banner. By registering with the “Open Chat“ server you can be in a private chat room that exists ONLY on ctw, and requires NO software to be installed on your computer.

The  Photo Gallery  has some improvements as well, Now as you browse, you can vote on your favorites, leave comments on pictures, and even send E-cards using any of the photos here. We will highlight more features of this site in the future, but to fore-shadow. You can “login” to this website and have your favorite links handy. Then this could be your homepage if you so desire. I have testing this with the latest version of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Netscape. So let me know if anything needs improvement.

How do I download pictures into the new phota albums?  How many can I put in?  How do I make new folders.  You can just show me when you get home dad.

Checked out website with Apple

Well the apple using Safari works reasonably well on this website. We have some issues to getting the rest of the pictures into the album and we are nearly ready to go.

Some Security is enabled

If you are going to use some of the advanced features of this webpage you will have to login. Currently the ‘kris’ login has no password (until you put one in).

1. Login as ‘kris’ no password.
2. Go to ‘Tools’, then ‘Edit Profile’ and enter a password.
3. Next time you login you will need the correct password.
4. Now you can place your personal links and find advanced features in the tools once logged in.

There is currently no way to register logins, we will figure out that one next.

The new excuse!

The catch phrase of this family is now, “Daniel happened”  I think he gets blamed every time a glass gets knocked over, or something smells.  This new phrase will go down in the hall of fame along with “You googled that!”  Life is always a surprise.

Progress, progress…

Wow, we are getting there.  I didn’t make any progress on the wierd shaped bpxes but I am still working on it.  I LOVE how the website looks.  As  note do you have a page that I could just mess around with.  I am trying to intregrate and put together a Holmes family page.  Tomorrow I will work on putting more pictures in.  Love Ya!
