About Catch The Wind
We are the Calva's, a family of six. Mary and Mike have been married since Sept 2, 1985, and have four children: Kristine, DeAnna, Melissa, and Brian. 
You are looking at our home. In February of 2003, and in response to the Lord's leading and provision, we flew our family of six to Turkey and moved onto Kara Ada in April of the same year. While here we have met many friends in Istanbul, Selcuk, Datca, and Marmaris. Our adventures will take us to friends in Italy, and Greece. And I think I'll call that a partial list... What is it like to live in an 60 foot (19 meter) sail boat with a family of six? Checkout our photo gallery... We continue to be very grateful for the help and support of all of our friends and family here. They graciously accept Mary's now famous mantra "We're not crazy, our God told us to...", and give of their time and resources to make this a reality. We pray for God's blessing on each one of them. May they receive many times more than they give.
