Past
Before starting our adventure here in the Mediterranean we spent about 18 months living in an RV and Serving the Servants in Mexico. Here we drove through Los Tuxtlas (south of Veracruz), to Tepozatlan/Cuernavaca (Mexico City region), to Acapulco, to Mazatlan and back north to Minnesota. It is no accident that many of the areas we worked in are accessible by land and by sea!
After flying to Turkey and purchasing the Kara Ada we spent about 9 months in Turkey completing the transaction (a book in itself) and making many friends here as well as serving believers wherever and however we could.
We took the scenic route through the islands of Greece, and had the trip extended by mechanical troubles in the Island of Milos just southeast of Athens. Then past Corinth and the Ionian to Italy.
We spent another 9 months in Crotone and surrounding area, making a lot of friends and once more continuing our tradition. The moment we leave an area we begin praying that God would, one day, have us return.
Sailing back to Turkey places us once again among friends and "familiar territory" as we renew friendships and live here in the Fethiye, Marmaris area of southern Turkey (Look straight north of Rhodes).
